Turffontein Clinic
Takgalang Consulting is leading the construction of the Turffontein Clinic in Johannesburg. Sponsored by the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) for the City of Johannesburg, the 1870m², two-storey facility is designed to enhance healthcare for communities in Turffontein, Rosettenville, Kenilworth, and surrounding areas. Located in Region F, south of the CBD and at the gateway from Southern Gauteng, the clinic will stand on a 2960m² plot at the junction of De Villiers Street and Van Hulsteyn Street, near Main Street, Rosettenville's central commercial hub. This strategic location ensures easy accessibility by public and non-motorised transport.
The clinic, amidst a rapidly developing region, will efficiently cater to the community's increasing healthcare requirements. Features include a 120-seat waiting area, 18 consulting rooms, an emergency unit, facilities for mother-child care, ARV Treatment, TB therapy, testing, antenatal care, isolation, a central pharmacy, and ablution facilities.
Aligned with Johannesburg's Growth and Development Strategy (GDS) 2040, the Turffontein Clinic complements JDA's initiatives in the Turffontein Development Corridor, including stormwater upgrades, park developments, and public environment enhancements.
